This week we did a video scavenger hunt and I actually really enjoyed walking around the school and filming all different kinds of shots. We had to get ten different shots of specific things-some were tight, medium, and wide. One of the tasks was to record a wide shot of someone shaking hands with a police officer which was cool and we also had to film some of the construction outside as well as art work and trophy cases at Ladue High School. The only main problem or difficulty I faced was when I had to record the snack machines in the commons because the reflections kept getting in the way. I just had to adjust the camera angle a bit but that was still a struggle for me that I need to work on practicing how to fix. A few things that went very well were recording art work and recording students working on computers in the library because I feel pretty good about my shots for those. I really liked spending the entire class independently getting our shots with our groups because I found it very fun, but I also learned a lot about videography. Overall this video scavenger hunt was super fun and I'm excited to work more with my shots I took on Final Cut Pro.
