So much has happened in the past month! Due to the coronavirus, school has unfortunately been canceled for the rest of the year. It is so upsetting that my senior year abruptly came to an end and there was still so much I was looking forward to. Luckily, we have been able to continue school in a different form, online. It has been a bit difficult to adjust to, but so far it has not been too bad. For Broadcast, Mr. Goble assigned an online video project in which we could make any kind of content we could at home surrounding quarantine and life as it is now. I decided to do my project on the life of my twenty-two year old sister, Grace, on how her life has been since we have been in lockdown at home and how she is feeling towards all of the changes. It was honestly a fun project to sort of follow Grace around for the day and capture how she spent all of her time at the house. I was able to interview her and get her point of view on how COVID-19 has impacted her life. Editing on iMovie was definitely a change from Final Cut Pro, however I have used iMovie many times before so it was not a struggle. One thing I did struggle with though is exporting my video off iMovie. My computer storage has ran out so it has been frustrating trying to figure out how I can export my file properly. Overall, I enjoyed filming and editing this project and I think it turned out how I pictured it!
