Hannah Harder and I collaborated with Jake Tackes and Jason Pummer (members of Panorama- Ladue's newspaper) to create a cooking video on pumpkin muffies for the fall! Panera Bread's pumpkin muffies are a huge hit every fall, and we wanted to see if we could make them just as good. We found a recipe that claimed to be very similar and brought our idea to the test. The four of us spent a Saturday afternoon together in my kitchen baking and filming the whole process along the way. We had a lot of fun the pumpkin muffies turned out amazing. We all agreed that we would make them again on our own! A couple things that went very well for us were our teamwork while baking and our ability to capture each step as it was happening. A few difficulties we had were not until when we started editing, realizing we did not have every angle that we wanted. However, in the end I think our video turned out great! I really enjoy cooking/baking so this was a super fun idea for us to try creating a video on. If interested in trying this pumpkin muffie recipe for the fall, check out the ingredients below! It is now mid October, which means it is officially fall! Fall is definitely one of my favorite seasons because there is so much to do. Last weekend, I went to a pumpkin patch with my family in Columbia Missouri. It's called Strawberry Hill Farms and it was so cute. We did not buy any big pumpkins there but we did get a bunch of little ones to decorate around our house. Strawberry Hill Farms had very cool and different colored pumpkins such as some marbled green, speckled white, and many different shades of orange. The farm also had locally grown vegetables and fruit which were available to purchase. I had a lot of fun there with my family and I would definitely go back again! Aside from visiting a pumpkin patch, there are still a few activities I would love to do this fall season. Some on my bucket list are a haunted house, apple picking, pumpkin carving, hiking, and baking!
