Last Monday, December 2nd, we filmed our first Ladue View! We had been practicing during class for about a week prior but were finally ready for the real deal and it went great! My job was the assistant tech director which seemed confusing at first but was actually a super fun and easy job. Katie Silver and I split the job of switching between Cam 1, Cam 2, Cam 3, and Aja throughout the production. I quickly learned how important it was to pay attention at all times while practicing because the timing for switching the cameras had to be right in order for the show to work and look good! I got the hang of it though and I ended up really enjoying my job. I think I would like to do the same job for our next Ladue View, but have always been interested in being an anchor. It seems intimidating but I think it would be so much fun. I think we did such a good job on our first Ladue View and everyone's hard work payed off. We received very nice feedback as well which always makes it feel worth it. Everybody really committed to their jobs and our teamwork really shows. I am super happy about how it went and can't wait for the next one!
